Cedar Concepts provides toll manufactured materials in liquids, pastillates, or flakes. Fatty Alcohols, Fatty Acids, Amide Esters, and blends can be manufactured in different physical forms that are preferred by demanding customers. Cedar's capabilities allow for the manufacturing of a broad range of products.

Products are routinely custom manufactured and supplied as a liquid. Liquids are efficiently piped and added into different manufacturing processes.

Pastillates are an excellent example of how materials may be toll manufactured at Cedar Concepts. Pastilles are a special solid shape that provides a large contact surface. This large contact area is useful to expose the material to be dissolved faster -- reducing melt time significantly. This improves productivity at our customer's operations. Depending on the material being dissolved, the time savings could be as much as 50%. Furthermore, pastilles significantly reduce dust in the work place eliminating the need for constant shake down of filtration systems. Less dust means savings on the need for extensive dust handling equipment and time intensive procedures. This helps our customers to meet OSHA's personnel exposure requirements to particles. Pastilles significantly improve bulk density which results in lower packaging cost, shipping cost and storage cost. They improve safety and housekeeping by simplifying spill clean up.

Flaking is another great example of how surfactants may be toll manufactured. The lightness and compact shape of flakes provides excellent weight and space savings in transport.
